Candidate endorsement letters
The Stillwegian is again accepting reader endorsement letters ahead of the Nov. 3 general election, published alongside candidate bios and questionnaire responses as part of our voter guide coverage.
What's new: Three state House races are on the November ballot. Stillwegian members can submit letters endorsing any candidate in any of them.
- Letters must be 150 to 300 words, written in your own words, and focused on why you support your candidate. Letters that attack opposing candidates will be rejected without revision.
Who can submit: This is a reader privilege open to all Stillwegian members — free or paid.
- Submit using your Stillwegian member email address to help with verification.
Where they'll appear: Accepted letters will be published on the candidate's profile page in The Stillwegian Election Desk alongside their bio and questionnaire responses.
- Letters may also be shared in their entirety on The Stillwegian's social media channels. Submitters can opt out of social media publication in the form.
Deadline: 11:59 p.m., Friday, Oct. 23, 2026.
On the Nov. 3 general election ballot:
- Oklahoma House of Representatives, District 32 — Jim Shaw (R) and Andy Brown (I)
- Oklahoma House of Representatives, District 33 — Molly Jenkins (R) and Dr. Max Burchett Jr. (D)
- Oklahoma House of Representatives, District 34 — Trish Ranson (D) and Aaron Means (R)
House District 34 had no June primary; both candidates advanced directly to the general election.
