Hejny Enters Portal After Injury-Shortened Season — OSU Left Without Returning Quarterback
Four-star recruit appeared in just one game before season-ending injury; Cowboys now have no returning quarterbacks for 2026
Oklahoma State’s quarterback room has taken another blow.
On Thursday, OSU redshirt-freshman Hauss Hejny announced on social media his intention to enter the transfer portal. He was named the Cowboys’ starting quarterback to begin the year, but suffered a season-ending foot injury three drives into OSU’s season opener against UT-Martin and did not appear in another game. In his lone appearance this season, Hejny went 5-for-10 passing for 96 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 27 yards and a touchdown on four attempts.
