After a week filled with uncertainty about the future of its season, Oklahoma State will play more basketball.

OSU will be a 2-seed in the Tulsa Region for the NIT, which begins Tuesday. The Cowboys will host Davidson at 7 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena for the first round. Should it come out victorious, OSU will face the winner of Wichita State-Wyoming in the second round, which takes place March 21 or 22. The semifinals will take place off campus at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, while the championship game will happen down the road at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

OSU finished the regular season 18-13 and 6-12 in conference play, losing to TCU in the second round of the Big 12 Tournament. OSU has made three appearances in the NIT within the past decade last season, where it advanced to the quarterfinals before losing to North Texas. OSU is 14-5 in GIA this season, and 8-4 all time in NIT home games.

The Cowboys have made 15 all-time appearances β€” including their 2026 bid β€” yet, have never won it.
