Head coach Andrue Brown praised his team’s resilience after a difficult stretch against top-five opponents last week and highlighted the value of contributions across the roster.
“I’m just incredibly proud of the girls,” Brown said. “It was nice being able to call numbers off the bench and see people step up big time. Getting everybody in the game tonight was huge for us.”
The win lifted Stillwater to 4–8 overall (2–3 in district play) and provided a much-needed rebound. Brown noted the team’s state ranking of 16th keeps them in solid playoff position, especially with continued improvement.
Tuesday the team travels to face the top-ranked Norman Tigers before hosting the Norman North Timberwolves on Thursday.
