The next four inductees to the Oklahoma State baseball Hall of Fame are set.
On Thursday, OSU announced in a press release the addition of former program stars Tyler Lyons and Freddie Moulder, longtime assistant coach Dave Holliday and tenured play-by-by announcer Rex Holt into the Cowboy Baseball Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place the weekend of April 3-5 during OSU’s home series against Cincinnati.
“This Hall of Fame class represents everything that is special about Cowboy Baseball,” OSU coach Josh Holliday said in the press release. “From a career-impacting coach, to a legendary voice in the radio booth, to one of the best left-handed pitchers in program history, to a trailblazer both on and off the field, this is a loaded class that has it all.”
Holt is entering his 44th season with the OSU color commentating crew, and his 31st as the full-time play-by-play man. Holt, whose time with the Cowboys commenced in 1982, has chronicled and captured a multitude of high-octane moments throughout the program’s history. In that span, he has been part of 11 College World Series appearances and 14 conference championships.
