New DA wants out-of-state prosecutors to review Payne County justice system
Residents who sought a grand jury welcome the offer but say it is no substitute for their own
District Attorney Jeremiah Gregory wants prosecutors and investigators from another state to conduct an independent review of the Payne County justice system, a proposal he offers as an answer to residents who have twice tried to convene a grand jury to investigate the office under his predecessor.
