Stillwater fell to Edmond North in straight sets (25-17, 30-28, 25-19) during the annual PINK OUT game on Sept. 23, as Pioneer players and fans filled the gym in pink to raise awareness for breast cancer. Pink ribbons and decorations lined the gymnasium, creating a spirited atmosphere despite the tough result on the court.
Sophomore Sloane Rattay paced the Lady Pioneers’ offense with 23 kills, while freshman Lydia Matlock added 2 kills, 2 aces, and 4 blocks at the net. Junior Jessica Fahlenkamp contributed 4 kills, and senior Alyssa Thomas chipped in 2 more. Senior setter Lillian Jeffery directed the attack with 31 assists, while senior libero Taylor Rattay anchored the defense with 22 digs.

The second set provided the biggest push for Stillwater, as the Lady Pioneers fought Edmond North point-for-point before falling 30-28 in the extra-long frame.
With the loss, Stillwater moved to 11-11 on the season. The Lady Pioneers return to action Thursday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. against the Moore Lions for Senior Night, where six seniors will be honored in the final home game of the year.
