The Oklahoma State Cowgirls have specifics for their first round game in the Field of 64.

OSU was awarded the 8-seed in the Los Angeles quadrant — hosted by UCLA — and will face Princeton (26-3) in Round 1 of the Women’s NCAA Tournament. The Cowgirls are coming off a 23-8 regular season finish, which included a 12-6 mark in Big 12 play.

This marks the third time in four seasons the Cowgirls have appeared in the NCAA Tournament under coach Jacie Hoyt. OSU has lost in the first round each of its previous two appearances under Hoyt, while it hasn’t advanced past the second round since the 2020-21 season. So, the Cowgirls will certainly be hoping to break that hex this year.

Oklahoma State vs Princeton
